This week I share a bonus encounter for my adventure Christopher Robin’s Nightmare. Alex ran this adventure on Twenty Sides to Every Story (YT/ Twitch) to raise money for Extra Life. I popped into the stream about midway through and promised to write a bonus encounter with Tigger if they reached at least $750. And they did! Tigger wasn’t originally in the adventure because he was the only main character not in the public domain at the time of original publication, as Tigger’s first appearance was in the second Winnie the Pooh book. But now he too is in the public domain so we’re all free to use the character as we see fit. Without further ado, here’s something to add to your random encounter table (or however else you like) the next time you run Christopher Robin’s Nightmare.

A Wonderful Thing: A mighty roar calls out and a tiger suddenly appears. Bouncing on its tale, it yells out "Put 'em up. Put 'em up, you nasty woozles! Tell me where the mouse is or it's over for you!"

Tigger initially believes the PCs to be woozle compatriots of an evil mouse. If they cannot quickly convince him otherwise, Tigger begins attacking, though he only does non-lethal damage. If beaten to half health, he stops fighting and declares that he's "never met a woozle this tough" so it stands to reason that the PCs can not truly be woozles. If the PCs indicate that the "evil mouse" may be in a particular direction, he eagerly bounces away. Otherwise, he tags along with the PCs, initiating combat with other opponents in a similar manner as he did with the PCs.
